Eligibility and How to Enter

Products and services must have been introduced to the market between January 1, 2026, and December 31, 2026, or have undergone a significant update, relaunch or expansion during that period. Eligible entries include:

• New product launches, including seasonal releases and collaborations
• New equipment models or hardware platforms
• New software or technology platforms
• Significant feature enhancements or capability expansions
• Reformulated food or beverage products
• Meaningful upgrades to existing equipment, technology or service offerings

Minor updates such as cosmetic changes, branding updates or packaging refreshes are not eligible. Entries should represent recent innovation or meaningful advancement for convenience services operators

Entry tips

To ensure the best fit:

•  Enter the category that reflects the product’s primary function
•  Each product may be entered into one category
• Entries may be reassigned to a different category at the discretion of the editorial team to ensure proper classification.
• NEW! Entries from all categories can also be nominated for the Industry Innovation Honors

How many products can I enter?

Companies can submit multiple entries for the Readers’ Choice Product of the Year Awards. Each product or service is eligible in only one category. Please submit a separate entry for each product or service you would like to enter.

Industry Innovation Honors are selected by the editorial team at Automatic Merchandiser and VendingMarketWatch.com in consultation with industry experts based on innovation, industry impact and relevance to convenience services operators. Companies can nominate their entries for the Industry Innovation Awards as part of the submission process.

Product entries will be accepted until January 6, 2027.
